About Outbid
Outbid is a public leaderboard where rank is determined solely by the amount paid. The minimum bid is $5 and the maximum is $999,999. Bids are whole US dollars. There are no accounts, no ads, no API keys and no revenue sharing.
How bidding works
A listing’s identity is its URL. You submit a URL and an amount, you pay once through Stripe, and the listing sits at whatever rank that amount buys. It stays there until someone pays more. Nobody’s position is ever renumbered because of somebody else’s bid — you are simply overtaken.
What a bid buys
Every listing on this page is a paid placement. Outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and pass no search ranking value. What a bid buys is a position on this page and the clicks that position earns. Nothing else.
What a position costs
Claiming the top position costs the current top bid plus $5. Claiming any other position costs the bid at that position plus $1. Raising a listing you already hold costs the difference between your current bid and your new one, and keeps your original seniority.
